Lead water feature with bubbling ball

Off to a private residence in the North of England surrounded by beautiful Yorkshire hills.

The cistern/reservoir we had made in stainless steel to support the weight of the Frensham style lead panels which we installed on site. The lead center piece is a simple square column with a 450mm lead ball which bubbles over.

The cistern has a diametre of 2.3m with an upstand of 1metre. the center piece gives a total height of 1.8m.

You can see from the pictures how the lead has taken on its natural blue/grey patina.
